Developing Pecs #1
I've been semi-fit for as long as I can remember and an off and on again runner and gym rat. Although the gym has been much longer, I usually o things at home now. Throughout this whole time, and even when I had a very labor-intensive job where I developed the biggest muscles I've ever had, the one thing I've never been able to get is Pecs.

My question for those here that have them or have had them is: What do you do?

Arnold Press, Dumbbell Flys, and Tricep Hangover Pulls, all of which need to get your mind set directly on training your pecs, the body isn't going to do anything without the mind, so mentally you need to have a though along the lines of "I'm training pecs, flexing ONLY my pecs and draining ONLY them!" your body will realize it wants to use those chest muscles getting your workout to focus directly on them, alongside that you need to do the three mentioned workouts. On top of that you can Bench or Incline Bench, even lay flat on your back and Bar press that way, all of which require you to use your chest, it may take time to get used to or to even realize you can flex and control those pecs but it will happen with a good mental mindset and hard work, which I'm sure you already understand good sir.

Hmm, maybe that was always my problem. I always did the workouts but never focused on the muscle itself. Thanks Jay.

Thanks for the video Harvey.

Thanks for the video Harvey.

Speaking from experience. :thumb-up: My pecs still need a year or two of work as well.

I thought to over-train would be common sense lol. Working at a level you're already at is going to get you no-where.

There was some interesting points within the video, though. Thanks for the share. :thumb-up:

I am doing the same at the moment, I hope they don't take too long. What work out are you going to do?

Yeah, it's amazing how many people will go to the gym and do the bare minimum or train every other day because they're afraid of 'overtraining'. CT Fletcher's philosophy on overtraining is excellent. Smile
