Destiny 2: Forsaken - Announced #1

Destiny 2: Forsaken has been announced and given a release date of September 4th. The official reveal is above. Hopefully Forsaken gives Destiny 2 the fresh breath of life it so dearly needs. I'd really like to return to the game, though the current state of it has dissuaded me. I personally haven't played much after completing Warmind's campaign, although I may pick the game back up as more is revealed.

Id really love to get into this again. I really enjoyed it. I noticed a lot of people on my steam list have it, but few play it.

Originally I defended the game, but after friends stop playing and the clan died it wasn't worth logging on. For a game that revolves so much around clan activity, the last thing you want is the players leaving en masse. I've noticed more people playing, but most would agree the past two expansions were mediocre. I'll give it a second chance if the third looks promising.

Spoiler:
I remember when I got to 305, and the first expansion came. What's the point in going from power level 340-380 when it will be easier after the next expansion comes out?

That last comment is a good point. Why grind when you don't need to?

I definitely agree with you. They could have done some simple things to make end-game less clan reliant. You lose one, you lose the whole lot. That's not a way to gamble on a game where it will inevitably lose/change players over time. Loved the storyline though. If only it were longer!

I've seen many say that the game's been improved since I last played. Still hesitant to pick it up again.
