While trying to do a partial refund on a company I told them that the package hadnt been hindered with and that there was no more they could do. I then rang up and they said the same thing and to contact DPD and make a complaint on there.
Has anyone ever done this before? I was going to tell them that my Track suit bottoms and jacket didnt come in the parcel. Do you think this will work? And whats the best way to go about it.

This Is somewhat confusing/contradictory.

Did you claim a partial?

I contacted the comapny and claimed only the coat had arrived. (Said i was missing some joggers and a jacket).
They asked if the package had been tampered with i said no. They then emailed and said they had checked cctv and they have concrete evidence that the items were defo there when it was shipped. They told me to contact DPD about it as they cant do anything as i said it didnt look tampered with. I then rang them to see if they would give me a refund through phone and they said the exact same thing.

There's a very good reason they've asked this, namely for the likelihood of taking further action (In your favor) due to the goods stolen during transit. In short, they've basically SEd themselves.

You should've said yes to tampering.

Okay I will keep this in mind for next time. Is there anyway I could still carry this on or take the L?

Should you always say yes to tampering? I've always gone with no, inferring that it's a warehouse / supplier error.

Not every time, but when they put the question forward, always say It was tampered with.
