DNA switch to PEB #1
Hello!
Bought 2 pairs of shoes from Nike, they were delivered by DHL and required a signature.
Claimed DNA, but didn't work.. they mailed, called, etc. and I decided to quit.
Can I now claim that someone from the family took the package and I just find out now, but when opening there was only 1 pair of shoes? Or should I just return both and try with another account? Btw, the account was pretty old, but with 0 orders.

On what grounds was the claim declined?

Too heavy to PEB.

The claim was not declined, I decided to quit because they were pretty aggressive with mails, calls, etc. and didn't want to do any harm to the courier.
Any other idea on how should I proceed further?
Thanks for your feedback

Complications will be experienced If you proceed with this claim, so do as you've stated:

The wrong Item received method can be used with the new account on just one pair of shoes.

Very believable, lol. Your family just happened to accept your parcel without telling you for some time, and you naturally never thought to ask them if they've received it. The stars then aligned and your fam finally came clean that they were harbouring your parcel. Lo and behold, fate is still against you and you can't catch a break, as now there's a missing item, no doubt the most expensive one.

The claim was getting complicated so In my view, you've made the right choice.
