The DNA may well have succeeded, but Apple predominantly refuses to accept responsibility and asks you to deal directly with the carrier.

So it's a 50/50..
Would EB work? If claiming the package was intact they can't really blame it on the carrier.
Have you done it in the past? And which method did you use.

Eb works as long as you are fine with filing a pr.

Less than that.

Apple has been cross-checking weights, so only with lightweight goods that're compatible with the EB/missing Item method.

EB/missing Item as per the above methodology.

I’m some 40 days into a dispute/investigation with Apple over a watch EB ….Filing a police report does not guarantee success at all now.

They are still taking this line “ On conclusion of our investigation with the carrier, it has been determined that the delivery was completed successfully to the adrress provided, and the box was not manipulated or damaged while on transit. I am afraid we cannot accept liability for orders that go missing after the delivery has been completed, and for this reason we are unable to investigate this matter any further and you received an email communication for no replacement, no refund.”

I have once again had the claim escalated and am awaiting a phone call (which will likely never come based on past promises)

Since they're so certain It wasn't tampered with In transit, tell them to provide photographic evidence of the package condition at the time It was delivered to your address.

The photos must clearly show every angle of the package.
