"I will also send you an attachment shortly in which you must sign for not receiving the package"
What kind of attachment can this be?
Please post the document when you receive It.

It certainly Is heading In the right direction.

The reason being, their evidence Is Inconclusive thus another Investigation Is opened (which won't make a difference), as well as asking you to sign a document.

FedEx wrote me back saying Courier went back and recipient confirmed they have the package.
From what I can hear, FedEx confirms that they have delivered the package.
^ They've already said this, so I don't know why they're repeating themselves.

Hey! I'm still mailing back and forward with the company.
Since the last update the company told me that they have started an investigation about the handling of the package.
Yesterday I emailed the company to ask for an update on the investigation. they replied with the following:
"We received an interim reply that Fedex claims that you as a customer received the package. We have asked Fedex for clear identification, because they need to provide proof of course. We will keep you updated."

What kind of proof is the company looking for?
Do you think this will succeed?

It's difficult to say what their Interpretation of "proof" Is.

It could simply be GPS/tracking coordinates, which Is useless to verify person-to-person deliveries.

As It stands, there's no concrete evidence to decline the claim, so It's looking good so far.

I have a quick update on where my claim stands. After my last mail I didn't receive any evidence that my package was delivered, so I asked the company for clarification on where my claim stands. I received this reply:

"We have again explicitly asked for an update on the investigation.

This is usually a tricky situation if the carrier also stands by their claim, claiming that you would have received it.

The supplier has sent an ultimate and final letter that will also have to provide a final answer.

You will be notified of this."

I will update you guys when I receive a update.

I've received an response from the company, they sent me the following:

"We once again received a response from the Fedex investigation and they claim the following:

FedEx made internal investigation.
It was delivered at (adress) and the client received it by signing it. Currier told it was a (description of my family member that opened the door). After the local FedEx received our FedEx investigation request, they went back to the address and the customer confirmed that everything was correct and the package has been received

Can you confirm that this is correct?."

What will be the best response to this?
If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

Yes it did take place, my family member opened the door for the driver and answered some questions. I'm not sure what my family member answered exactly.

They are saying "customer confirmed that everything was correct and the package has been received", however your family member is not the customer, you are and you have not received anything.
Miscommunications within a family happen all the time, especially within a large family and everyone keeps ordering, its not uncommon for someone to just handle their own stuff, like you.

Find out exactly what was said, In particular If a name was given to the carrier driver.

It will determine whether the DNA can move forward.
