Hello,

I would like to DNA a graphic card (around 2000 euros), there will be a signature request at the reception of the package. I will obviously make a fake one. But I have a small problem... Cameras have been installed in the lobby of my building and on each floor in front of the elevator... On the front door there is a sticker that indicates that the building is monitored but nowhere is there the contact of the company that takes care of it.
I know that there are fake cameras in some lobbies but I don't know if this is the case in my building.

So I have 4 questions:

1. Is there any way to know if they are real or fake cameras?

2. If they are real. Does ups or the company that delivers have the right to ask to see the recordings of the day of the delivery (knowing that they will have to call the condominium to be able to see access)?

3. If they have the right, will they do it (knowing that there are surely administrative steps behind it and that it would surely be a waste of time for them)?

4. And finally if they do, how can I avoid appearing on the registrations with the package and thus put all the chances on my side to succeed the SE?

Sorry, but unfortunately I don't see how that would be possible... I think I'll have to go with what I mentioned before...
Small precision the entrance is not video monitored, it is only the entrance hall but it is still a problem... So what do you think about my questioning?

You won't know for sure whether the cameras are actively monitoring, or simply placed with signage as a deterrent.

In the event the cameras are up and running, you'd need to protect your Identity/physical appearance - wear a COVID mask, beanie, sunglasses etc to avoid being Identified In the footage. If the company/carrier takes It further, It won't matter - you're not the person In the footage.

It's no fault of your own If It doesn't arrive.

You can have packages delivered wherever you like, hence It won't raise suspicion If It happens to get lost.

I highly doubt It.

You'll see him arriving from a distance, so act as though you're doing some gardening or cleaning up the front yard.

Okay, since there are quite a few people in the building I will pretend to fix my bike when it arrives.

And one more question, if a police report is requested (given the high value of the object), it won't be a problem that I had it delivered to another address than my main one (which I no longer live at)?

Won't that enter in conflict with my story and risk the SE failing with the seller (especially if thoses informations are written on the PR)?

It won't Impact the PR.

It's simply the delivery address (which can be any address you like), and will be listed as the address of loss on the police report.
