DELL SN method wants a credit card for an Advanced Exchange?!

I performed a SE with a Serial number from facebook market on DELL, for a 800€ monitor

I did everything they said and included the pics in the mail, which looked good for me.

Now they asking me, for a credit card to hold a payment, until the monitor I dont have arrives to them.

What should I do? I dont have a credit card lol

do not do it, Dell is very pushy with their replacement, if you give them your credit card number they will do everything to get their money back.

give them a vcc with nothing on it or just dont give it to them at all

They have asked a loooot, but I hope with a empty anon cc they will hold the payment lol

Isn't it possible for them to see that the vcc declined due to low funds and deny a replacement? I would like to know how this goes.

AFAIK, they cannot. But some ccs have a Limit

I could either tell them: "Hey I have a limit, I dont have other option and I want my Unit!!" and escalate the ticket

Bought a CC from my local store, no Name on it nothing on. Will send it to them Biggrin

Have they replied regarding your CC? Did they accept it?
