Cyber Security Challange #1
I got the opportunity to take part of the Cyber Security challenge here in Australia, which starts in a few week from now. I am excited, as I am nervous. As it is a "hack-the-box" challenge, which you need to get flags, I haven't really touched Kali ~(Backtrack) since 2013 when I was getting into WPA2 and WEP.

Are there any noob friendly Hack the box challenges I can practice? Has anybody done any of these challenges before?

I've been seeking some cool scanning tools like Acunetix, and Parrot Linux has caught my eye. Would anyone recommend this over Kali?

I believe It Is.

I did read something to this effect during my travels on the net, but I don't recall exactly where.

No, at the collages and Universities the students are at. But, if groups come first, they go to Vegas, I think the second prize is Canberra.
