Curry's Apple Watch EB #1
Hi,

I just received an email from Curry's 2 weeks after claiming Empty Box, saying that even though I have completed Denial of Receipt form. They said they checked CCTV and weight and there were no discrepancies and no evidence of theft or damage which I find hard to see how they would accurately come to this conclusion.

I stated several times that the box was sealed and not damaged and nothing was out of the ordinary, it seems my claim has been mismanaged and it is very frustrating.

Any idea what can be done now?

Thanks.

Tell them to email you CCTV footage of the watch enclosed In the box at the time of packing.

Given the box was factory sealed, such a request cannot be fulfilled.

Just as I made this post I was on the phone to them and requested this to be raised further, saying that I never claimed the parcel was damaged/looked like item was stolen so I dont understand why they are trying to provide evidence to argue against that point. I got told I will get an email back within 24 hours, will respond to that email with a request for CCTV footage.

Well done.

If they still refuse to budge, be sure to stick to the following request:

i've allways wondered from your same response on such events , is your goal from this repeating "to show evidence" process to be able to continue to the chargback point knowing there is a big chance going into your favor ? also on what ground's they comply and just give you a piece of their own CCTV footage while your claim is already denied .

As a social engineer yourself, It's paramount not to believe everything you're told. When you've attained years of experience In the SEing sector, you'll learn why It's the case.

Who's to say they didn't make the whole thing up?
Why should you take their word for It just because they told you so?
How many times have representatives made an error In judgment with their claim assessment and final decision?

No doubt your questions have been answered.

You're welcome.

In short, unless there's solid and conclusive evidence for the declined claim, always question the decision.
