are you kidding ? I received a prepaid label from the store, because I want to return my order. When I placed my order on packstation and after I checked the track number, I saw maybe the former life of this track number.
I received my order a few days ago and today I preferred to return it, so I needed the money. Today I received this label. 2019 and my order are in no way connected except for science fiction with this label

Stating the absolute obvious, have you contacted DHL?

This is pretty common in the UK with DHL/UPS.

Couriers do use the same tracking number after x months.

Unprofessionalism at Its best.

I've yet to come across a carrier who recycles their tracking numbers. In my locality (at work), I deal with DHL, FedEx, UPS and my country's postal service on a daily basis- all of which do not reuse their shipments.
