Been to local conferences. specific to my area so im not going to elaborate. but it was interesting. At one I spent several hours learning how to lock pick. I now know how to get out of double locking handcuffs. even behind my back while wearing them. though it's not an instant trick like you see in the movies lol. or at least im not at that level. but ya. workshops. talks, the usual.

I've been to:
- Comic con twice. Second time was especially awesome as this American corset company was over and it was all steampunk and incredible and high quality. I got to try some on and absolutely loved it. If only I had 180GBP to spend on one...
- ExCel (London) put on a house of the future show which was pretty awesome. Saw a demonstration of a multitude of new home gadgets and what not. It was kinda cool.

Blizzcon was great. They served beer just about everywhere. I was at the Hearthstone Tavern a large portion of the event. Got to play/talk with a couple of Blizzard developers. Priceless experience. Linkin Park is bad, though.
