College Mail Room DNA? #1
I live in a dorm building where you need to provide a school id and sign for the package. Is there anyway DNA would work? Confused

receive it out side the school if such request where providing your "College ID" is related to some school policies/laws then simply fake the signature , you are not obliged to receive a package using any form of ID , only a signature / OTP if item is bulky

EDIT : depending on the carrier ...

Is a copy of your ID taken, or Is It purely viewed?

I asked essentially the same question on here about a week ago (see my posts) and it sounded like the consensus was yes, it'll work. I'm going to be testing this soon and can update you on how things go.

Note: My posts bear no connection to reality, and are purely fictitious works created by my imaginary pet chimpanzee randomly smashing my keyboard.

did you make any attempt? I did a DNA for a $150 item that was given to mail room and i picked it up with my college ID and after investigation with USPS they issued a refund! idk what would the limit be before there would be a problem but i'm thinking of going for a $400 item now. I'm leaving the campus in a month so i might as well try

I can confirm that it works.
I live on university campus and all parcels are delivered to the post room. Collection is also based on ID, the post room clerk scans them. Even with this procedure in place, I was able to DNA several packages over the academic year.

I would link my success rate to the POD, the delivery drivers take a picture of several packages together, so there's no way of telling which parcel is which.

that's good to hear, yeah because of the massive amount of mails they have to deal it seems to be pretty easy to SE. what was the biggest DNA u successfully did?

I must say, that during my stay on university campus, I haven't DNA'd anything crazy. The first thing that comes to mind is my recent Tommy Hilfiger DNA - £625. But honestly, that was just pure luck. The courier somehow got inside the accomodation (you need a key to access the main entrance) and delivered the parcel to my room (all parcels have to be delivered to the post room) No signature, photo or GPS location.
