Do any of you like going to church? If NOT, why?

I honestly don't enjoy going to church, mostly because they're are people like myself who are basically dragged along. I am someone who goes so I don't have to hear anyone's mouth.

I usually go there every Sunday, I honestly don't like going, when I do, I always fall asleep.

My family and I don't go to the church because we do not have any religious beliefs at all since we don't believe in God.

I'm Jewish, so no. But I do actively participate in the synagogue, because its fun! My family is reform, so we aren't really strict...

Nope. I did a couple times when I was like 1-5 years old, but that was it.

I hated church and I still do. It's just so boring, that's the only reason I don't like it. I was forced to go by my parents and my teachers at my old catholic school. She would ask us questions about what the priest was saying on Sunday and if we didn't know the answer we got in trouble, it was disgusting.

That's terrible..That's the kind of thing you DON'T do to a kid.

When I was really little, I used to go with my parents to a Methodist church, but I don't really remember enjoying it. When I was 9 or 10, they asked me if I wanted to go one day and I said no. I had never understood the concept of "God" or a deity in general. Like I've mentioned before on here, I keep an open mind, but I'm still an Agnostic Atheist.

I'm an Atheist, thus I'm probably not welcome in a church or the surrounding area of one. If I did have to go to church, I would probably be slaughtered by angry religion fanboys for showing them things like facts, proof and cool stuff like that opposed to a book with myths in it.

I always like to stay in touch with my religious views as a Roman Catholic. I believe that "hope" and "forgiveness" can help you go through the hardships in modern-day society. Who else would I turn to when all else is lost?

I haven't gone to church in years.
I find it boring, and they are so quick to judge you if you do something wrong.
