Replace a background, on this background, the red black and white look awfully, unpleasantly on eyes

A.) I agree about the background. try to go more subtle patterns.
B.) Clock is utterly useless wtf is the point of that?? Who isnt accustomed to looking at the clock on their computer when they need the time.
C.) Page views - So 1995? Does anyone other than the page owner really care if youve had 2k page views. it gives you no insight on the popularity of the individual content and very little insight on the popularity or quality of the whole site. Its quite diluted imo. It could be 200 people viewing 10 pages each, or it could be 1000 people viewing 2 pages each.
D.) The date is too prominent and outside of the content area why? you have the title and text inside the box, but you have the date posted outside of it?

Yes agree. The background is pretty dull and maybe some images as well as reducing the font size would help somewhat.
