Can I DNA when there is Photoproof ? #1
I received a parcel and the guy took a picture of me holding the parcel, I'm not sure if I'm recognisable on the picture.
Is DNA an option?

It's on Zalando, I made on legit purchase a few months ago and I payed for Zalando plus. I haven't DNA with the same delivery company since December.

No, DNA testing would not be relevant in this situation. DNA testing is used to identify genetic material, such as for paternity testing or criminal investigations. It would not be useful for identifying someone in a photograph, especially if the person's face is not clearly visible.

Any picture including a person whether its you or a family member usually creates a sticky situation. It’s not as bad if it is just a body shot included though, as you still can claim YOU did not personally receive the package. All in all I would avoid this one.

I'm not sure if he took a body shot or my face.
I think I'm going to call the support and ask if they have any indication on who might received the parcel. If they say that they have a picture with face I'm just going to say it's my neighbour and return the parcel in the week.

This must be established before deciding whether or not the DNA can proceed.

Can I say to the support that one of my neighbour received the parcel but I don't know which one, so I need a picture or anything that can identify the receiver ?

Your neighbour will then be Involved with the claim, which Is not good practice.

So I should just say that someone, without specifying who, might received the parcel and I need information ?

It seems like a good approach.

Update : I received the proof and unfortunately there is my face. I'm going to return the parcel and end the refund.
I think the best method to counter Photoproof is to wear a COVID mask and if you're really motivated use some temporary hairdye.
