So
I decided to try a different store in the UK as I was bored of doing Amazon and it looks like I've took the challenge on of a company who use CCTV during packing. They're not a huge company like Amazon but they're not a small company either.
I told them I received the wrong items in the box and they put it under investigation. They've messaged me back saying they have CCTV footage proving they put the correct item in the box.
Should I cut my losses and admit defeat? Or should I challenge them on this?
I mean, I've seen CCTV before, unless their CCTV is literally on ground level, surely it wouldn't have the quality to be able to zoom into the parcel and see the address on it? It's all well and good the CCTV showing the 'correct' item being packed but unless the CCTV shows both the address label + correct item being placed in the box and it being sealed, the proof doesn't stand up, does it?
Any advice would be nice.
