plus it's easy as fuck to detect, what other thing will a program do if all it's doing is calling GetAsyncKeyState...

Agreed, if you want a good keylogger. You'd have to bypass the Window's kernel and receive they keys as the operating system does. Tricking the operating system into thinking its doing its own logging.
