How to bypass administrator accounts/users password authentication.

How to gain access to password protected users on Windows operating systems with KonBoot

[spoiler=Software Explanation]
KonBoot:
KonBoot boots from a CD or USB (other mediums also such as external HDD's etc.) and modifies memory to let you login without knowing a local account password. The password is bypassed once per boot with KonBoot (If you restart the computer system, the password will come back into effect) KonBoot is paid software, but I will give you guys a copy for free.

ImgBurn:
Just simple a simple ISO burner with a few other functions.

[spoiler=CD tutorial]

• You will need to install and open ImgBurn, this software allows us to burn ISO images to disk.
  
• PUT YOUR BLANK DISK IN NOW!
  
• Click on the first tab "Write image file to disk", click on the "Browse for a file" icon (under source) and locate KonBoot on your PC and press the burn button.
  
• Restart your PC with your new KonBoot disk inside and boot from you CD drive.
  
• You will see KonBoot's flash/boot screen and shortly after your PC will boot as normal.
  
• Now login to you freshly cracked Admin/user account (The admin account will have no password, so just hit enter).

• If you are using windows7:
  
• Plug your USB thumb drive in
  
• Right click usb_install_RUNASADMIN.bat, pick Run As Administrator
  
• Follow the installation procedure.
  
  Otherwise:
  
• Plug your USB thumb drive in
  
• Double click (run) on the USB_INSTALL.vbs
  
• Follow the installation procedure

safe mode -> administrator account -> cmd -> net user ? i don't know if it's working on win 7

I think its easier to boot from a CD?
Not that doing it through command prompt is hard but...

Another way is to use BAcktrack 5 R2 and boot from a usb, plus backtrack comes pre-made with tons of hacking tools. But good post.
