So i want to creat a budget app that will tell us how much money we need for a given house that parts easy but I was wondering how programmers implement Google maps into their programs, like I want to give an address of a house and it returns the distance away from our works places and schools, I was thinking c# would be easiest for this but maybe I'm wrong. Any advice for the maps portion?

As @m0dem mentioned, the Google Maps API should do the trick. The standard free plan looks pretty inclusive and I doubt you'd need more than what's offered there. As for ease of use language-wise, the only thing that would be a significant factor is HTTP functionality for connecting to Maps, so you're more or less unlimited in what language you code this in.

Oh that's what API's are! I'm guess i'm still a noob when it comes to programming, thank you! I'm trying to build actual useful apps so i can learn more. I've made a lot of pretty useless programs in my c++ course i'm taking, such as, ask the user for a number and print a shape based off of their input using a for loop. The whole reason behind this app is; recently my mom has became a pretty angry drunk and i want to move out asap and i want to simplify the process for others by creating an app that can tell you how much money you need to rent out a house and if renting that house will make your commute to school/work shorter or longer. So for example the program asks how much is the rent per month and it asks how much you make and with that it will give you an estimate on how much money you need to live based on statistical values. So if rent was 200 USD/month and you made 100USD/week it will say that you make 400 total and 200 will go to the rent leaving you with 200 left to spend on food and such, and it will minus the average that people spend on those and it will say something like "you will have 10USD to spend on yourself after rent and the necessities" Then its going to ask about where work and school is located and the address of the place you are looking to rent. based on that it will say something like "This house is 20 miles from work and 50 miles from school" hopefully all of that made sense.

What programming languages do you know already? Just a bit of C++?

i have a basic understanding of html and languages with the same syntax give or take, java, c++, c#, but i really only use c++.

Your best bet is (probably) to have a Web front-end made in HTML, CSS, and Javascript that the users interact with.
This front-end would connect to a back-end built in some programming language that works with Google's API.
For the back end, you might use a language like PHP or Python, but I don't believe C++ would be the easiest to use.
Have you ever used Python? It is very versatile and dynamic which is great for dealing with APIs and such.
Then again, PHP may be better because it is more available and easy to use on web servers.
First, get your back-end working and get all the gritty details sorted with Google Map's API.

I haven't used python much, i did a brief tutorial to see what it looked like, Thank you! once i get ahead in all my class work, ill put some time into this
