most i've done was £105 on a random site, i'll try and let you know (deleted previous comment for safety)

If you are using real bottles that you break then I believe you will succeed. Good luck 🤞

Aside from libertylondon, have you ever tried doing 2 perfumes from 1 store claiming they're both broken?

Nope. I have only ever bought 1 at a time. About half the time I also buy some other cheap item with the perfume to perhaps make the order seem more legit. Definitely not vital to it working but it might be worth considering with such an expensive perfume you are trying.

Went thru with allbeauty because libertylondon was out of stock

Claim was denied because “there isn’t enough liquid in the photos”, rep being a dumbass

Should I chargeback via bank, tell them to escalate claim or chargeback via PayPal?

Do you know if there’s a difference between PayPal and bank chargeback? Because I want to save PayPal for a bigger SE

Escalate claim.
Dont waste your shots for such a little order.
Had the same answer from some stubborn rep once, pushed them harder & it worked, eventually.

How would you escalate a claim like this? The rep said “we can’t proceed further with your claim” after giving me the dumbass response

Also I was only considering charging back because the perfume was expensive ~£300

Did you use a photoshopped image or real image?

Yes, at this point it basically depends on the believability of your claim.
If you think your images are realistic, just go mad on them. Threaten to involve PayPal.
Say they would have your back in a dispute for damaged goods, surely not accepting something as silly as "not wet enough".

Bro, I literally smashed a real bottle and spilled water everywhere the photos looked as real as you can get. The rep is just being slow

I replied saying,
''My first reaction when opening the parcel was not to take a photo but to clean up the mess so the image I provided you shows the aftermath yet the photo still shows how the perfume leaked a lot of liquid and you can see how the delivery box and my floor is soaked in the image'' - No response yet

How are they even arguing with this? Do they expect me to see the broken perfume and straight away pull out my phone and capture 100ml of liquid in 1 singular photo? Are they in my home with a measuring cup to see how much liquid spilled? These reps are getting stupider

If I chargeback with my PayPal can I charge back via my bank account for another SE or vice versa? New to this method of SE'ing thanks

Yeah I have no idea why they are trying to deny it. Idiots.

Regarding charge backs. Not too sure I understand your question although I'll give you some answers and hopefully it does answer your question. You can PayPal charge back and if it fails, you can then do a bank charge back for the same transaction. Charge backs of both types should be kept to a minimum if possible and used for special occasions imo. Although at the same time, you can definitely do a fair amount without raising suspicion.

Dont think about it just yet, few hundred $ not worth it imo.
You could still return it if all else fails, especially if they have physical stores.
