What kind of things can you do if a phone has bluetooth enabled? Hacking wise?

Connect Bluetooth headphones to it. Go to settings, turn on Bluetooth, turn on your headphones and make sure that they are trying to pair with nearby devices, click the name of your device on your phone, your phone should tell you that your device is "Paired" or "Connected", open music application of choice, choose song, turn volume to 100%, now jam out. Hope this was useful. Smile

I assume you've either exploited a vulnerability to allow access to the target device without permission, or you've established a connection as a trusted device/pairing thereby allowing the exchange of data between both devices.

Would this be correct?

Depends on the device, Fords had built in bluetooth that allowed you to unlock and start the cars for a time, still might, some phones you can find images/videos people have given public access, some mp3 players allowed you to copy music, as stated, depends on the device.

There is no one specific way to hack via bluetooth, there are several methods (http://www.tekgyd.com/2016/03/hack-andro...-2016.html) but don't expect a method that is public to last very long, hacking involves research, intensive research and testing.

RE: Bluetooth #8
You can try to find a vulnerability in the Android bluetooth stack, or in the bluetooth standard in general. If you find one, then you can try to use it to exploit the device. However, if no vulnerabilities are present, there isn't much you can do.

There are likely variations per device with this, so see if you can find a common bluetooth driver used by many Android devices that is alse open source.
After you've found one, look through the code and see if you can find any vulnerabilities. Rinse and repeat

it's easy to hack any active bluetooth : ( multi platformes ) i mean you can hack phones and computers (windows)
bluetooth isn't secure and have a lot of vulns , i hacked befor many devices for fun lol , using different methods Smile
well , use an automated tool called "blueborne" ( quick and easy attack )
check this video for android phone attack ( full controle ) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Az-l90RCns8
and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrHbZPO9Rnc , for windows computer mitm attack ( men in the middle attack ) to sniff data from bluetooth network , also u can hijack the network.... etc

Hence my aforementioned post- questioning whether you've already established a connection with the target device.

Given you haven't accessed the device, your question more so relates to how to compromise the phone's Bluetooth, and not anything (at this stage) In hacking the phone per se. The methods used to compromise a Bluetooth connection are quite In depth and as such, beyond the scope of this post.
