Hello,
I tried to SE Blue Yeti since they have no serial number. I used my own adress
Now I get this message. Can I safely procceed sending a fake Amazon POP and say I threw it away or should I stop because of the investigation?

An Investigation Is part of their procedure to move forward with the claim.

Non-compliance Is an admission of guilt. Send the POP and wait for their response

The things that stand out to me on this is;

"Due to false claims about smoking microphones, we're opening an investigation on this"
- This indicates that a lot of people have tried to SE, failed miserably and now they've wised up about it.

"Ship your microphone to us for further testing"
- Their warranty service seems to only be able to test/repair and THEN they'll replace it, which requires you to ship them something.

"Show us a POP, then we will get started on your RETURN"
- Sounds like they'll still ask you to return the microphone, even after you've provided proof.

I hope you get some luck out of the company but, sounds like people making false claims have ruined it.
