Best reasons to win Chargebacks? 10-24-2018, 01:59 PM

Obviously 'item not in box/not as described'.
What else if the items are tracked/signed for?
a list of good reasons/different extremely believable reasons/scenarios.
Thanks in advance.

It depends on what the item is, for example if it's a perfume in a glass bottle you can claim it broke during shipping and has spilt all over the parcel. They obviously wouldn't ask for it back.
I'd also recommend always trying to refund through the company itself first before making a chargeback case.

I just got a free £45 toaster from Amazon by mistake.
I booked return and the driver did not show up for two days straight.
I complained the first day. Then they promised that definitely the second day it will picked up.
Second day no one showed up. I complained that I feel like a prisoner in my own home. lol
They said to keep the item for free and they ll refund me.
You can create an SE out of this. Don't open the door and say that he never came, or that he just left a note without knocking on the door. (it happened to me before)
Edit: Sorry, I thought you meant Amazon refunds. You mean like Paypal chargebacks?
