Have you had to do this yet? Thinking about it being an option if all fails with that FTID we were talking about.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

Similar, did it on a LIT. Bank used was American Express, they are G's, didn't give 2 shits and prioritized me from the beginning of the claim.

Not surprised Amex never fails to put the customer first.

No wonder, with that yearly fee you're giving them, it's only fair you get something in return

I booked return and the driver did not show up for two days straight.
I complained the first day. Then they promised that definitely the second day it will picked up.
Second day no one showed up. I complained that I feel like a prisoner in my own home. lol
They said to keep the item for free and they ll refund me.

You can create an SE out of this. Don't open the door and say that he never came, or that he just left a note without knocking on the door. (it happened to me before)

In your case the driver legitimately did not arrive, so as a gesture of good will, they Issued a refund.

It's a different story altogether when the driver "does" arrive, and you claim otherwise by neglecting to respond to the delivery. Records are kept when and at what time they deliver goods.

That aside, well done with the SE.

is gps tracking binding though? As we know, couriers say that they left a note, attempted delivery but this isn't always true.

GPS/tracking only confirms the driver's presence at a given address, but by no means does It conclude the package was dropped off, nor does It verify that a delivery note was left by the driver.

I've personally witnessed (on a number of occasions) drivers stopping at the destination, waiting for a few seconds to update their GPS records, and driving off with the package In hand.

Very true, same as taking a picture outside of the door an address still isn't 100% proof that it was delivered to the named recipient.
