INstallation
Donwload .iso from backtrack website
Put it to usb i will write how to do that down..........
Burn it to CD
Put it in you CD Drive
Restart your PC
At the beggining of BackTrack booting press enter
When its "loaded" for username type root and for password type toor
To start Graphical Interface type startx
Youll have icon on the desktop install BackTrack
All you need to do is follow installation steps and if you want to have your first OS with BackTrack select Install them side by side choosing beetwen each other on startup.
If you want to update BackTrack you can open konsole and type

apt-get update

or

apt-get upgrade

or

apt-get dist-upgrade

Installing Packages
If you want to download something for your BackTrack you should download debian files
Than when downloaded you need just to open it and click install packages
OR
Open terminal and type name of that program
If under that terminal show something like it is not installed you need to type apt-get install xxxxx type

apt-get install rekonq

rekonq is just example you can type any tool that is avaible
USING
There is many tutorials for BackTrack on the internet and you can watch some on my youtube channel but help needs to be in every tool for example
You opened sqlmap and you don't know how to use it but above is help like which command you use for what and simular..............
If you cant find tool which you want go to Run Command and type its name or go to terminal and type its name like john or hydra................
Youll need to setup some tools like nmap

NOw as i talled installation to usb
Download Unetbootin from http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
Format your USB (i use quick format cuz format takes more time)
Open it and selet distribution and version in this case backtrack 5 r1
In diskimage select where is your backtrack 5 .iso
And click OK
Your USB will be bootable
For metasploit
There are many exploits in metasploit but you can find exploit what u are looking for by typing search partofnameinexploit
or to search for every exploit type
search exploits
or for payloads
search payloads
for me best payloads are windows/shell/reverse_tcp and windows/vncviewer/reverse_tcp
