"Rare" means that It doesn't occur often, hence It can still well and truly happen.

Ask them to provide evidence of the package personally received by you, or a household member.

They closed the investigation and told me to dispute it with my bank. Is there anything I can do now, or should I just return it.

On what grounds did they close the Investigation?

Request your claim be escalated.

It was taken to the specialist team initially. I was denied a refund by the specialist team, so they are saying that I have to dispute it with my bank for any further investigation.

Regarding evidence on me receiving it, they said their policy is that if it is left outside, it is considered a successful delivery.

You didn't receive It - your address did.

Evidently It's a successful delivery to the address, but the question Is, are they liable for lost shipments thereafter?

Tell them to clarify It against their policy.

This was their response "We might be able to process the refund if the carrier has accepted responsibility for the missing package. If there is a comment that the carrier is unable to deliver the package, we base our decision on the tracking. We're unable to process a refund, though, as the package was delivered to the right address and marked as delivered in a secure location. In this situation, we ordinarily suggest contacting the bank to contest the payment."

Tell them to provide you with a copy of their policy that clearly states their comment above.

Did they select the secure location?

If so, what deems a secure location?

They keep ignoring me everytime i open a chat regarding the matter.

Im not sure if i should just return it, or a chargeback would be possible like they have asked.

Ive asked them to unblock my account to return it as well, but they also keep ignoring me and telling me that it is under investigation.

If you decide on a chargeback, the advantage Is their noncompliance to respond and resolve your questions and concerns.

Given they've said It's being Investigated, they haven't actually Ignored you - they're waiting to finalize It and reply with the outcome.

What will happen if i attempt a chargeback. Also, would my bank question the suspicious activity due to refunding if they do investigate this matter?

Am still waiting for a response on the unblocking of my account, they keep giving me the answer of the busy schedule of the specialist team, and that I will receive a response when due, even though the initial response, denying my refund was almost instant.

For a chargeback to succeed, you must have evidence In support of your claim.

Otherwise It's pretty much useless.

Your bank with liaise with the company and collect all details.

If there's Inconsistencies found, It pretty much speaks for Itself.

Email every department you can think of.

You're  bound to get a reply, eventually.
