So like now Amazon told me to file police report what if I was to wait a week and ask for a refund will they still say file the report

Their system is not suddently going to forget that a PR was requested for your claim.
Although some smaller companies can tend to mess up with their records, a comapny like Amazon that has been hit by SE'ers many many times is for sure keeping their records.

Your claim Is on record pending a PR.

They'll refer to their notes and remain adamant with the report.

A PR Is simply required to move forward with the claim, so there's no cause for concern.

The majority of claims result In a successful outcome.

You're well within your rights to hit a chargeback, hence there's no reason for Amazon to close your account.

Yh but the reason I’m hitting a chargeback is because they weren’t willing to give me a refund when I hit eb for the AirPods it should be calm though if I win the case because I didn’t use my address so I’ll still be able to do orders
