Doesn’t returning the item you want to keep defeat the object of the SE?

no im keeping the watch face and im going to take the traps in a way they wont be able to see theyre taken

Yup, I didn't expect it to work so well. I still need to wait for my refund though, hopefully there wont be any problems when they receive my return

At least you got the main unit. Makes it difficult to sell on without a sealed box and complete.

Well being Apple will still easily sell but won’t make as much. Hope you get refunded ok

i opened the glued side and glued it back so they dont see that the seal was opened on the strap box

it should be fine, if they ask why the straps arent there ill just say i didnt look after i saw the watch was missing

I’ve just done a partial. That didn’t even ask which part was missing. Just asked me to return the parts I received, so pondering whether to remove the straps or not.

I made refund on this watch. Said that its missing but it was without investigation. Basically missing item inside package works always if amazon won't make an investiagation. You can try that method but when supporter want to open investigation, say something like ,,I will contact you later" and then return it.
