Yeah it was suppose to be delivered to my hands but I had texted the driver to leave it at my door. Yeah I might get return it normally and take the L. Really don't want to do a police report.

But I heard there's was a one time expectation rule, though not sure how it works, might be only for repairs or returns.

I have heard the same thing about the one time replacement policy as well. Not sure how it works with the DNA method, but there's no harm in hinting at that with the reps on the phone and see if they budge.
Got too many methods, I don't know which one to use today.

Just got off the phone with them, tried talking to a  senior advisor, couldn't be transferred because their "notes" told them the Senior Advisors couldn't do anything and were telling me to file a police report in order to move on with the case.

Basically I HAVE to make a police report.

In your case I would proceed with the report. The cops won't do anything, and when you send the report to the company, they should proceed with your aim in a way that should go in your favor. Police Reports are nothing to worry about.

[/quote]What's your hesitation with the police report? If it concerns you, you can file it and close it after you've been refunded.

It's only required for administration purposes with the assessment of your claim, so go ahead and file It.

I'm just lowkey scared about the police actually trying to find the phone by tracking it if I turn it on. But if you guys say its okay then I will file it. Thank you guys, I will keep you guys updated.

You'll be fine.

The police has more Important things to attend to, than pursuing the activity of a cell phone that's purely claimed as not received.

They're not going to show up for a stolen item. If it makes you feel any better, say it's lost.

So quick update, I made a police report, nothing was going on so I had ended up contacting an Apple supervisor, they told me Apple has made a final decision to not issue a refund or replacement, I had asked why and they had told me all the investigations they did which they cannot disclose that information and was very stern about the whole situation. He had also told me any further concerned I would have to talk to the law enforcement.

Took a big L with this one I guess.
