I think the weight of my box measured up. I am expecting them to check the box though because of what is stated on the return tracker. It says "Diagnosis Pending", that's where I think they will check the box and my whole plan would be over with. Proof of Return Status: https://imgur.com/a/13NYnSA

What did you end up putting in the box?

You should've boxed them.

The Item Is small and light enough to do so.

Why would the company (apple) feel the need to still replace the item, if the package you sent them was empty (boxed). Surely it’s not Apples fault and it’s a dispute between you and the courier not the company you sent it to. Am I missing something?

Why does every other company replace/refund Items when boxing?

Apple Is no different when your SE Is formulated and executed effectively- namely manipulating and circumventing the human firewall accordingly. If you adopt a questionable attitude, It will have a significant negative Impact on the outcome. Do take this under advisement.

I exploit on a daily basis, both via technical and social engineering attack vectors. Needless to say, I've yet to fail.

Sorry I was only using Apple as an example as it was the subject of the thread. I was speaking in general , I would’ve thought the company could easily say they are not liable for any issues with your package reaching them in one piece. Should something happen to your parcel, you should take up your complaint with the courier, seeing as your parcel was stolen in transit ie before it ever reached the company. Why is this not the case?

The company and carrier Is Immaterial.

It's manipulating the person on the other end that's of relevance. Read my post to get a better understanding on what truly defines social engineering.
