If anything, it highlights stores' vulnerability. But it also can give users a reality check, as keep in mind that these actions should not be taken lightly (or at least in my opinion) and can often be portrayed on here as rather trivial.

Will be doing a sealed box iphone and was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these stores.
Though I haven't done much preliminary research on the following companies I was wondering if any of you guys who have had experince with them and suggest I should just stay away for any reason (for example, horrible customer service, meticulous box checking or just general stubbornness from the company) OR have any statements/suggestions regarding the following stores.

I know that companies such as Big W, Amazon, JB-Hifi, Apple, OfficeWorks and harvey will be my first choice but i am still intrigued with these other retailers. Let me know guys thanks xxx

I agree. Though I am very serious about my SEing, sometimes I can find it a little humorous. I was only reading a thread the other day which stated how one of the members on this forum literally just walked out of home depot with a 2500$ toilet which warms your butt and plays music.

Alright so it's not just me...
They wanted me to complete some stupid verification then after i did it they just never shipped my parcel, I contacted them asking what was going on and they just didnt get back to me until I asked for a refund.

On that same week on a different order auspost literally LOST my airpods. Luckily I did get a refund from the store tho.

Although I cant shed light specifically on SEing iphones using sealed box method for these stores I can tell you that
- Kogan and dick smith are the same company and are hard to deal with, ie dont bother
- Catch and mydeal are virtually the same company, also hard to deal with
- Dont bother with telco stores
- Hit JB, Big W, TGG as a preference
