Anonymous kept it pretty low-key. I don't really remember how I heard about it, maybe through a fellow hacker. I believe you had to access the channel via Tor though.

I didn't go anywhere near their IRC, was full of feds and I was dealing with my own legal issues, but I am glad someone got the goods.

Yeah, probably so. However, it wasn't breaking the law and good luck locating one behind Tor + VPN + public Wi-Fi...

I'm all over the net, all day, everyday, and I didn't come across anything relative to It during my travels.

I guess you can't be everywhere at once. I'm curious as to why SL doesn't have an IRC channel? I'm not a fan of Discord...

Yes true, no Individual can cover the entire net.
I haven't used the board's search function but by memory, I believe IRC has been suggested and discussed.
