This actually sounds quite good, I might watch it, does much story happen based around or in the virtual world?

The main part of the story revolves around the normal world, at least the main part about character building and setting. The combat and some slight story development takes place in the virtual world. You can say that the entire "dilemma" takes place within or in connection to the virtual world. (The 'villain', solution and cause of the main character's distress are all tied with the virtual world however.) "Much story" wouldn't be right to answer yes on, but its part of a very comprehensive story.

It comes highly recommended, also thanks for the feedback.

Summer Wars is an ambitious anime and beautifully executed.

Summer Wars was a lot of fun. Was it basically the same as the First Digimon Movie? Yeah. Was it cool? Yeah. Love Machine also had an utterly fantastic design.
