Hey brothers I am trying to surprise my girlfriend for her upcoming birthday this October and get a refund. I want to buy the Apple Watch series 5 on amazon. It costs 749.00 usd Shipping weight is 6.99 pounds and item weight 37 grams as well. I am planning on doing the Boxing method. To return dry ice in its weight. What’s your best advice?

Not possible for a watch to weigh 6.99 pounds @ 3.20 KG.

I certainly wouldn't be carrying that on my wrist.

This makes more sense.

The "case weight" of 37 grams (round figures) Is the Item weight excluding Inclusions/accessories, hence Ideal for the missing Item method.

🤣 correct, I apologize for that. So you are concluding based on your experience that it will be more reliable to do the missing item method? I understand now that the boxing method has less chance to succeed since this item barely makes it to the scale.
thanks for replying. I will be ordering the watch tonight. I hope you further advice me for this SE. and BTW I have a 3 year old account on which I have only SE’D one item which was worth $200 it was a GPU. But I was late when trying to claim a refund the item had already been delivered 3 weeks after I claimed with the missing item method as well. I had to get a police report on that one so I did and it succeeded.

I’m trying to avoid long investigations and all that. I have read here from others that in some cases when applying the missing item they will later tell you that they have proof that the item was in there in fact with low weight items too. This package will weight 6.99 pounds in total including all the other stuff that come with the watch. The watch itself weighs 37 grams you are right. But do you still suggest the missing item method? I am tempted by the box method. Since I can just take all the things out the box and then apply dry ice and make the whole package weigh exactly 6.99 pounds for the shipping weight?
