Not possible for a watch to weigh 6.99 pounds @ 3.20 KG.

I certainly wouldn't be carrying that on my wrist.

This makes more sense.

The "case weight" of 37 grams (round figures) Is the Item weight excluding Inclusions/accessories, hence Ideal for the missing Item method.
🤣 correct, I apologize for that. So you are concluding based on your experience that it will be more reliable to do the missing item method? I understand now that the boxing method has less chance to succeed since this item barely makes it to the scale.
thanks for replying. I will be ordering the watch tonight. I hope you further advice me for this SE. and BTW I have a 3 year old account on which I have only SE’D one item which was worth $200 it was a GPU. But I was late when trying to claim a refund the item had already been delivered 3 weeks after I claimed with the missing item method as well. I had to get a police report on that one so I did and it succeeded.

No problem at all with the Inaccuracy of Information. We're all human and prone to making errors.

Given the watch weights around 40 grams, It would barely register a weight on consignment, hence the missing Item method Is well-suited. However, they'll most likely cross-check the details with the carrier, so do expect an Investigation.

Just to clarify, in this situation you need to say that all the Apple packaging was in the box - just the watch itself is missing.

One last thing to conclude this. I am concerned about apple blocking the device once it’s reported stolen or missing by amazon..? Do you guys think they would do that or something if not do you think my girl will be safe on using the device?

Yes they do that.

its called a blacklist.

I would never used a SE'd smartphone.

I'd use a laptop, laptop just have seriel numbers. But Phones IMEI can be blacklistd so once its on wifi or cell network its disabled or police come.

I mean it shouldn’t get to that extent, I don’t think they will report missing since I am going for the missing item method which will prove that they forgot to pack the watch or something. I’ll say everything else was in the package besides the watch. I won’t turn it on for sure until it’s all over. What do you think

BTW it’s not a phone it’s a smart watch. I’ve read online that They can be listed as lost or stolen but they cannot be blocked. They connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth which means they will work should they be connected to an iPhone that is fully functioning/working.

Could happen but majority of the time they are not blocked. Still however, I suggest you get the watch, sell it for slightly less then add that money missing and buy the watch officially.

Personally I'd rather have a official legit purchase than risking the odd chance of it being blocked and losing a lot of money.
