Correct.

The Intention Is to give the appearance as though you haven't opened the box, hence It gives them no reason to check the return.

Well, If that's the case, they'll Immediately Identify that the other phone Is not part of their Inventory.

Reckon they’ll turn it on and try start it up etc? The phone will be identical just can’t get passed iCloud activation

So by appearance, there's no difference whatsoever?

What about the serial number and IMEI?

No difference at all. IMeI number and serial number you have to start up the phone and go through the set up to see that

Given they're Identical by appearance, this can In fact work In your favor.

Whether they'll thoroughly check the return (serial & IMEI), remains to be seen. If you hit them during the busiest time of year, namely Christmas, I'd say It's very unlikely that they'll have the time to go through the phone's settings.

I’d imagine the person doing it would see it’s same and turn it on to see screens not smashed. I’m gonna try make sure I give it back with a flat battery

I'd say they'll check to make sure It's functional, but perhaps not delve Into the settings.

Wouldn't they simply plug It Into the charger and use It thereafter?

Suppose they would but would hope it being dead will make the person think they cannot be bothered and just put it back in the box idk😂

Anything that has the potential to manipulate representatives, Is certainly worth trying.

You have nothing to lose and should It succeed, there's everything to gain.
