One would be better imo.

Shoot ur shot if it goes south say you found it.

I tend to order from Amazon and anything I order GPU, laptops, phones end up have OTP so I don't see a reason for DNA to work

It's flawed and susceptible to failure, especially with a couple of laptops of the said value.

Companies don't appreciate processing a 5k refund without a thorough/In depth Investigation.

Honestly surprised I don't see more of this here. When that RTS came out everyone was order 2 or 3 MacBooks at a time.

Like @Dyne said, opt to find someone to do it for you because £5000 will be a lengthy investigation and even with FTID/LIT I imagine it'll be 30 days wait and a possible account closure where your only option will be to return it or chargeback through your bank. An "insider" that's doing the UPS RTS "method" may be your best bet. If you're in a location where they're cracking down on boxing you'll 100% not get a return a label. You'll have to drop it off or have them pick it up.

Would like to see how this goes.

I hope I'm wrong and it's refunded in 3 days though Smile

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

UPS RTS method? haven't heard of this one, is it an old patched method? anyone want to clue me in on it.

RTS means "Return to Sender".
Somebody with "UPS Access Point" access will be able to change your UPS tracking to RTS. Amazon will think that the Package got returned to them and you will get a refund.

This is the best of all methods, but also expensive imo.

For both laptops?

If so, It's extremely unlikely, If not Impossible, that a picking & packing error was made with two laptops for the said value on the same order.

Based on the experience you have, would a wrong item receive work on 1 laptop worth 2.6k?

Can anyone provide information on this. If I decide to now do a legit return of both laptops and re-order just one laptop. I doubt I will be able to do DNA due to OTP. EB on a high value item will most likely not work due to the weight. So would receive wrong item be my based bet on getting a successful refund for this order from Amazon

It certainly can, but the higher the Item value, the more likely complexities will be experienced.

It applies to each and every method.

Btw the wrong item received method, would it work if used at a Amazon locker?
