Hi folks,

I just wanted to provide an update on this SE.
I went with the wrong item received method. Wrong item was ordered from a different account, using different card, delivered to different address. After receiving the headphones, I made a call to CS and told them when we opened the package, there was a different item in there. They transfer me to another department and the rep told me they will send me an email and asks to reply back to that email with a photo of the wrong item (showing the label) as well as the shipping label and box it came with. After replying to the email with said proof, i called back to CS, they confirmed and asks if i want the refund via original payment method of AZM GC. They asks that i return the wrong item and emailed me a return label.

The confirmation email on the return label says the refund will be issued within 7 days after the they receive the item. I think this is an atuomated message. Refund should be issued once carrier scans the package.

They wanted a photo of the shipping label on the box? I'm assuming you swapped the boxes.
Also curious to know the approximate price of the cheaper item

Cheaper item was $22. One other thing to note about this particular headphone is the overall weight is 1.9lb (entire packaging including carrying case). while the substitute was 9oz which does not come with a case. If I had to redo it I would buy something of similar weight. I got lucky here.

Very interesting, how long did you wait after sending the pictures to call them again?

10mins. Or you can wait up to 3 days for an email confirmation. Calling is faster.
