Amazon investigation - help please, is it over?

I just tried my first refund with the box is empty but invoice is there thing but amazon said they will contact the carrier, once I said I had already called them they said they will do an internal investigation and to contact them in a few days, is it truly over for me with no chance for a refund? would appreciate help

Thank you, I have not done this for a few years, back then it took literally a few minutes and you would have an instant refund over chat. I was becoming very worried.

Thank you, I have not done this for a few years, back then it took literally a few minutes and you would have an instant refund over chat. I was becoming very worried.

It still takes a couple of minutes over the chat/phone if you use the right choice of words.

I just contacted them again and they said that the weight matches and to contact the police, now am I completely screwed?
