I understand your position, but do remember that a police report Is not admissible In court, and Is simply used to proceed with your claim.

What did your last point of contact with the company Involve?

Thank you everyone for responses. After contacting them they asked me to wait another day as they said that the delivery guy might scanned the parcel accidentally and it might be delivered today. If not they will give me full refund or send a replacement. Anyway that was over the phone call and I didn't received any confirmatio e-mail of our discussion.

Unfortunately I haven't asked for it. In the future SE's should I ask for it? I am wondering if it is even possible to get in touch with the same customer service representative if I would provide the full name.

They rarely provide full names. I don't think it is, unless you ask them specifically to schedule a call back with you. Usually they'll offer it (in my experience), but I'm sure you can just proactively request it so you're certain it's the same rep as before.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

The purpose of obtaining the representative's name Is (as with this case), to have a point of reference when a replacement/refund has been suggested and/or confirmed. It's also good practice to document the exact time and date of when the call took place.

Every call Is recorded, hence If they decline the claim further down the track, you'll have the appropriate details that they can cross-check against their records. To get the full name Is as simple as saying "And who am I speaking with?" at some point during the conversation.

After contacting amazon like 3 times as they kept asking to wait for another day, they finally issued a refund without any questions asked and blamed the driver for accidentaly scanning the parcel.

The funny thing is that I've received another delivery today that I wasn't planning of SEing from Amazon, but the delivery guy left it at my neighborg, but on the delivery itself wrote the wrong flat and wrong name. I am wondering ehat would happen if I would say dna for 2 in a row items as it took me some time to find which neighbor had it.

Brilliant.

It's quite rare that Amazon do not pursue the matter further, particularly when using the DNA. You've received a refund, and that's all that matters.
Well done.

Do you think it is a viable option to ask for a DNA once again?
