Amazon.de refusing refund for DNA 01-30-2023, 06:08 PM
#1
So I've now been denied my refund request twice.
I'm in contact with their customer service and they keep assuring me that the refund should go through, but it all leads back to this guy above it seems. How should I proceed here?

"We are contacting you regarding your A-to-Z warranty claim on order xxx.
As noted above, we have again considered the warranty claim and the information you provided to us. We have concluded that our decision on this A-z warranty claim remains unchanged.
We ask for your understanding that it is not possible to reprocess your warranty claim even if you disagree with the decision. Please note that customer service cannot provide you with any further information in this regard."

The package was left outside with no signature, although the seller is not amazon but it all goes through them.
How much was it?
Try and say it was damaged.
If that doesn't work return an empty envelope and file a dispute/chargeback and give the bank the Return authorization number and tracking number saying you returned it. It works trust me.

If I say it was damaged they will request it back. The empty envelope doesn't seem likely to work, they would see the weight difference.

It was roughly 1500€. If I say it was damaged they will request it back. The empty envelope doesn't seem likely to work, they would see the weight difference.
Oh the max I ever did was $1100 with Amazon and I had to do a chargeback to win.
The empty envelope helps if you end up doing a chargeback that way you have proof you returned it but that's a last resort.
Good luck wish I could help you more but Amazon is a bitch unless you have a aged account.

Do you have a record of all communications confirming the refund?

I do have record of all communication. They haven't outright said the refund is on it's way, but they keep saying "your issue should be resolved in xx hours" etc. The customer service keep forwarding the claim to the "specialists" and they keep denying the refund request.

Ridiculous to say the very least.
On what grounds are they denying the refund?

Incredibly frustrating.
Some companies just don't care at all what you say and will just keep referring to the tracking, just like amazon are doing here.

Here is what they wrote:
“Thank you for taking the time to provide us with more information regarding your request for order x. After further review, we have decided to uphold our original decision.”
Why was my appeal denied?
“We closed your claim because the tracking information for this order shows that the shipment was delivered. If you need assistance locating your shipment, we encourage you to contact Transportation Services.”

How was the package delivered and accepted?
Also, were there any conditions on delivery such as a signature required?

did you insist that you did not receive the item in person , is there was any type of signature occurred upon receiving the item or there was none at all and normal drop was just the case ?
