Amazon account aging question 08-09-2022, 07:43 AM
#1
I've done a lot of refunding SEs and have hit amazon once but I was wondering how necessary it is to age an account. What would the limit be for a fresh account as opposed to an aged account? how many purchases and what should the total be of these purchases on the account? And how long should I wait before refunding an item? Thanks in advance

I personally have accounts ageing now which I do not plan on using for a few months.
I find with fresh accounts unless you are going for a low value item they bring nothing but headache.
Some aged accounts I have only two or three low cost items on them. Something you use or something you can give away.

i think the ageing process is about the time and number of orders on an account.
Regarding the number of orders between SE's I think its to force the SE to be on the previous page of the orders section. This is so the rep when they go onto your orders wont see that you have had a refund at first glance, therefore giving you a higher chance to execute. Amazon reps are also braindead.
Hope This Helps
