Amazon account aging question - Alloogosht - 08-09-2022

I've done a lot of refunding SEs and have hit amazon once but I was wondering how necessary it is to age an account. What would the limit be for a fresh account as opposed to an aged account? how many purchases and what should the total be of these purchases on the account? And how long should I wait before refunding an item? Thanks in advance

I personally have accounts ageing now which I do not plan on using for a few months.
I find with fresh accounts unless you are going for a low value item they bring nothing but headache.
Some aged accounts I have only two or three low cost items on them. Something you use or something you can give away.

From what I've learned so far is that there really isn't any set rules to aged accounts, it's just more important for you account to look legitimate like someone owns it and uses it. Newer accounts will work with SE but it's more prone to failure.

Something I read from @mothered is to have a 2 purchases between every SE but other users also say that you don't need that many purchases.

When it comes to it, it's very dependent on the rep that you encounter while in chat and how the delivery is carried out.

If there's something wrong with what I said please correct me im only starting to learn.

i think the ageing process is about the time and number of orders on an account.

Regarding the number of orders between SE's I think its to force the SE to be on the previous page of the orders section. This is so the rep when they go onto your orders wont see that you have had a refund at first glance, therefore giving you a higher chance to execute. Amazon reps are also braindead.

If you want to play It safe and not attract attention with your account transactions, follow my advice, otherwise do as you please.

There are no hard and fast rules.

To give the account some form of credibility, make a least one legit purchase prior to hitting the SE.

As per above.

The value Is Immaterial.

The objective Is to demonstrate transactions.
