Hi,

I’ve used the wrong item method and have the return labels to ship the ‘box’ for the item I ordered inside the box it came in. The problem is, the weight of the package when it arrived was 6.3lb - how would you recommend I get the weight back up? Or should I use a random item of the same weight since I used wrong item?

had said that the box for the items was received, but not the item itself and mentioned the box may of been tampered with. She said it happens often and they’ll refund it/replace and to send the box back with the items it came with.

looks like success is within reach. just make sure the wrong item sent is something that AZ sells too or they have in stock. there are many items that they have in common stock with tgt or WM or staples.. try copy paper or something like that cheap and heavy and bulky. you can SE those too. good luck

Okay, In short, you've said that you received the correct box but with a different Item (Inside) to what was originally ordered.

Would this be correct?

Yes, basically that the items received was the box that the Oculus comes in, mentioned that it looks like it may have been tampered with (tape mismatched and lifted in the picture Amazon sent when delivered)

So as It stands, they're asking to return the original Oculus box with the wrong Item that was (apparently) enclosed.

I called them back and spoke with another rep, I looped back through what I’d told the other rep and she said that the previous rep marked it as ‘Wrong item’ and that they’re expecting the wrong item to be mailed back.

Which when she asked what the wrong item was, I told her “Copy paper, office supplies - I don’t even know, stuff like that.. Complete opposite of what I ordered.. Haha..”

Then, asked about expediting the return process so that the return comes quicker, (7-14 business days to 3-5 :/) which she did by marking it to start the return once the item arrives at UPS and they scan it. 😅

Looking like a success, now I just have to find a shipping scale, copy paper, pens - maybe a stapler for weight. Lol
