I Rememeber the days when it was piss easy to get Amazon.
Now for Amazon.co.uk it's much harder, they have their own courier. And I've witnessed one of the drivers phoning Amazon base as no one answered and she tried two neighbours and then decided to put the package in the back garden.
Technically speaking it was relatively easy to steal although she did take photographs of it and sent them to Amazon. I'm also doing quality management at uni and had one of the bosses from Amazon doing a talk to the uni. Interestingly I asked him a question about their plans about 'bad customer's'and I was told that they are currently in talks with police in getting each of the serial numbers uploaded into this website so it's like an imei number and it gets blacklisted. So when it comes to warranty exploitations and you send them the keyboard for example and they check the database you are fucked because you claimed you never received it so they blacklisted the serial and yet you've handed them the keyboard with the 'lost' keyboard. They now have evidence to prosecute you.
It helped me learn about the system actually and that's me studying a phD I never thought the day would come where I would learn about bad customers

Can someone please advise what’s going to happen if an advance replacement has been delivered to me today but a return shipping label has also been issued, must I return the “defective” electronic that costs 200$? What happens if I do not return the “defective” item?
Is the empty box method the best in this situation to return the item?
Thanks in advance!
