Hello mothered, just to confirm; the missing item method for airpod pros on amazon is where I show them a picture of the empty box/package? Claiming there was nothing inside and say it's their fault?

You'd simply say that upon opening the box, the AirPods were missing and leave It at that. Don't go Into any more detail than you have to.

Amazon will then decide the next course of action.

Do you think I am able to do the missing item for the apple pencil on amazon instead?  Or would the box for the pencil be too big?

The Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) at around $160 CAD on Amazon. Its box size is 8.5 x 2.5 x 1". It is only longer than the airport pro by 6 inches, height and depth about the same. The pencil is also half the weight.

Yes, around 21 grams. The box is fully enclosed like the Airpods, cannot see inside.

You can simply say that you opened the box, and the pencil was not enclosed.

My thought was if the Airpods pro has a high success rate with the missing item method, then another Apple product that's half the price and weight should be easier?

Absolutely, namely due to Its weight at only 21 grams.

The majority of shipping scales don't Increment that weight- specifically.

But the pencil's box is 6 inches longer.
