I EB an Apple Watch from amazon, had to do a police report etc etc. Amazon advisor initiated a refund a couple of days ago. But yesterday I got an email from OFM saying my account had been closed as it was "directly linked to an account we have closed for violating the terms of our Conditions"

Will I still get my refund or has this process been cancelled as they have closed my account? I have emailed back but they keep pasting the same replies and not reading my emails.

The CS team said: "I feel very unhappy about this happening to a valued customer like you. I’d like to help you right away and change the way you feel about our services.

I've initiated the refund. It will be processed within 5-7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation as well once the refund is processed." blah blah blah.

This was 4 days ago now. Not had an email to say the refund has been processed yet, ofm closed my account a few hours after the refund was initiated. Now ofm keep replying with the same shit about the carrier confirmed the item was delivered and in the package.

You won't receive a refund (which you still can when OFM'd) until the above has been sorted out.

Update: Still no refund. OFM stopped replying to my emails. I pummelled them from every angle, many emails to OFM, regular customer service as well as calls. All to no avail.

After emailing Jeff @ amazon I finally received a response. They are saying: the request for a refund has been denied as their records show the order was complete when it left our fulfilment centre and successfully delivered. Also carrier confirmed parcel was intact and undamaged when delivered.

What are my next steps. I keep reiterating the parcel I received was in tact and undamaged, and just the Apple Watch box inside it was empty. Don't seem to be getting anywhere.

Am I correct in thinking I cannot do a chargeback as I used a fake name and address?

^ Tell them to provide photographic evidence that clearly demonstrates the Item was Intact and successfully delivered to your address.

That Is, evidence of the order received In Its entirety when the driver dropped off the package at your address.
