Amazon - Nintendo Switch SE #1
Folks,

I purchased a switch a few years back but unfortunately bricked it whilst trying to jailbreak, fortunately it still switches on but cannot connect to online or have firmware upgraded.

I was wondering if it would be possible for me to order new switch console using amazon prime, take delivery next day & return the following day with the bricked unit in it? How thorough are their are checks? Has anyone experience of. this method before? I only need the main unit repalced, eveyrthing else would stay in the box intact and be returned the very next day,

Cheers
Brido

I'd be surprised if they check when they receive it, but they'll likely send it to someone else. That means they might look into it further down the line and it could become obvious what transpired.

Simply use the sealed box method, and be sure there's no signs of tampering on the box.

They'll place It back Into their Inventory and Issue a refund/replacement thereafter. Obviously someone else will purchase your return, but who's to say that they didn't do the same as yourself- SEing by using a similar method.

If you manage to box it correctly, then the workers have no reason to check it. If they went through every single returned item, it would be a waste of time (and also be ruining the original packaging of the item).

How do I box it correctly, open from the bottom? Do I have to keep the Amazon tape in place?

It's human nature to check boxes at the top, so the bottom Is the best option.

If you're referring to the box Itself, yes.

The objective Is to not show any signs of tampering.
