The sealed box method, has a very high chance of success- but only If there's no signs of tampering whatsoever.

What's the weight of the phone?

let me know how it goes, im planning on using this method soon

They wouldn’t ship to me and don’t have time to get one before my return window runs out so need a new method.

The problem Is, If they decide to thoroughly Investigate It, they'll simply calculate the weight of the SEd Item against the shipping (gross) weight and determine whether It was enclosed.

Is there another method I can use? Just replace iPhone 11 with same weight item in the iPhone box and box it up in original box?
i guess you can just match the weight up, you need to make sure theres no way they can see it was previously opened though

i was wondering, if they sell the iphone again and the buyer reports to amazon they didnt get the item, is there any chance they can trace it to you?

Who's to say that the buyer didn't do what the OP did- SE, but using the wrong Item received method.

good point, what if i used this method on two iphones in one order that would probably be more risky in terms of when they sell the phones again, they will get two reports and im presuming they can trace it back to me, right?

They may sell both phones one year (or more) apart and as such, they won't be Inclined to link each one to the same return- namely yours.

Alternatively, you can make both claims on separate accounts. Though, It's best to play It safe and stick to just the one.

if the box is open most likely they will check. if it not you can always match the weight... This is little more advance and stupid easy i done it all the time . match the weight is not hard use sharp paper cutter, cut the center of the box and add flat metal< this you just have to figure out. have a scale weight it as the weight you received the package.

and for the love of god use GLOVE ..... just extra protection, just if they find out , your finger print is not in what ever you add on the box.
